Room rental reservation requests are currently open for families with B’nai Mitzvah dates between now and September 30, 2020. To reserve a room, please review the information below and contact Laura Rosh. 

Room rental reservation requests for families with dates between October 1, 2020 and October 9, 2021 are now open. Please see below to complete your request and submit your refundable damage deposit payment. 

Room Rental Procedure

 All room rental reservation requests will be considered on a first come, first served basis. Families with dates between now and September 30, 2020 may contact Laura Rosh directly with any rental inquiries. Please see the exceptions below.**

Social Hall Rentals

All Social Hall Rental requests must be accompanied by a $500 damage deposit made by check. Families with dates between now and September 30, 2020 may submit a check to Laura Rosh’s attention.

After the rental period opens

Complete the room reservation form that will appear below on Monday, June 18, 2018 at 10 am. All requests will be considered on a first come, first serve basis according to the electronic time stamp on the completed form. After you submit your room rental reservation form, please return to this page and use the Paypal button that will appear below the form to complete payment. A Paypal account is not needed; you may use any major credit card to make your payment.

You will receive an email confirmation from Laura Rosh when your request form and Paypal deposit have both been received.

If your rental date is available:

You will receive a facility application and rental agreement. We require half of the rental fee as well as the $500 refundable damage deposit at the time of application. Please send the signed rental agreement (provided by Laura Rosh) to Laura Rosh along with a check for half of the rental fee and refundable damage deposit. The rental is not confirmed and placed on the temple calendar until the signed rental agreement and payment are received.

If you do not receive a confirmation email within 24 hours:

Kiddush and Shabbat Dinner Rentals

Please contact Laura Rosh about room availability. You will receive an email confirmation from Laura Rosh when your request has been received.

If your rental date is available:

You will receive a facility application and rental agreement. We require half of the rental fee as well as the $150 refundable damage deposit at the time of application.  Please send the signed rental agreement to Laura Rosh along with a check for half of the rental fee and refundable damage deposit. The rental is not confirmed and placed on the temple calendar until the signed rental agreement and payment are received.

Rental Guidelines

Fees:

  • Social Hall Luncheon (10 am – 5 pm): $1,200 with a $500 damage deposit
  • Social Hall Reception (5 pm – 12 midnight)***: $1,500 and a $500 damage deposit
  • School Lobby Kiddush (10 am – 3 pm): $500 and a $150 damage deposit; no kitchen access and no music permitted
  • Shabbat Dinner in Wing or School Lobby (3 hour rental): $350 and a $150 damage deposit; no kitchen access and no music permitted

**Please note that a family may not reserve more than one room at the Temple until the partner family has declined use of the facilities (with the exception of a Friday night dinner). In addition, in a weekend with both a Shacharit (morning) and Mincha (afternoon) service, the morning family may not reserve a room for an evening event until the Mincha families have declined use of the facilities for an evening event following their service.

***Evening Reception rentals are especially challenging. Planning an elaborate Reception with multiple vendors will not work within the limited time frame, 5pm-12midnight. Early and late overtime for set-up and break-down is not available for evening Receptions.

Please note the start and end time of the rentals. There is no access to the kitchen or rental space until the rental period begins. All rental space must be cleaned and vacated by the end time.

All families must hire a fully licensed and insured caterer. No pork or shellfish may be served in the Temple at any time. Families must abide by the Temple’s Noise Ordinance Policy and each family will be required to submit a signed Noise Policy Acknowledgement prior to their rental date. Once you’ve submitted the form, please return to this page to submit your refundable damage deposit refund using the PayPal ‘Pay Now’ button below the form.
